You’ve invested a lot in your pet containment fence – now protect it with the PetSafe Lightning Protection module.  Many people don’t know that lightning can actually travel miles through the earth -  where of course your wire loop is buried.  Most pet fences have basic lightning  protection, which may protect your house wiring, but often will allow your transmitter to be fried. 

This module protects the transmitter by connecting directly to the wire loop.  If a power surge comes through the loop, the lightning protection module will act as a surge protector, and keep the transmitter and the rest of your house wiring safe from electrical overload.  We’ve heard countless stories of customers who have lost garage door openers, appliances, etc. due to electrical overload from a storm, but their pet fence is still working due to the operation of the protection module.
