The SportDOG HoundHunter 2 Mile trainer was developed for the long-range hunter with virtually any type of sporting dog. This remote trainer offers an astounding 2 mile effective range, 8 continuous correction levels, a momentary correction option, and a waterproof and submersible transmitter (9 oz.) and receiver collar (8 oz.). The transmitter is uniquely designed with a comfortable pistol grip form factor, and features replaceable black and GlowGrip handles that make the transmitter easily visible in low-light or dark conditions. Two collar straps are included (1 green and one orange), and a color-coded toggle switch on the transmitter corresponds to the particular color of each collar strap. The system is expandable for use with up to 4 dogs, and is compatible with all SportDOG Add-A-Dog receiver collars. The receiver collar features low battery indicator and operates on a rehargeable NiMH battery, while the remote transmitter runs on a standard 9-volt battery.
